This employee spotlight showcases Ty Polsgrove, who recently joined Team Paapri as a Solutions Consultant. A quick learner with excitement and motivation, he shares a little about himself and what he’s looking forward to here at Paapri.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in North Carolina but much of my family lives here in northern Indiana. I played many sports in high school then went to college and got a Mechanical Engineering degree. I spent the next four years in the military and now live here in South Bend. My wife, Olivia, and I just had our first baby girl and I can’t wait to raise her to love the Irish!
What did you do prior to working at Paapri, and why did you decide to join?
I just finished four years of serving as an Officer in the Army. I was looking for a position that would be fulfilling, challenging, and used the problem-solving skills I learned in the military. This job checked all the boxes. P [CEO and Master Principal Consultant] and the team were very welcoming and was excited to join a small company doing big things.
What have you learned about Paapri so far?
This a fun and exciting place to work! We are able to affect positive change in many companies around the country. Every client has a unique set of needs and Paapri is in a great position to help with them.
What are you excited for in your future with Paapri?
The potential for growth within the company in terms of knowledge and how many different aspects of the company I get to be involved in. I’m excited to see how far we go this year!
What are your interests or favorite activities?
I love college football and am a die-hard Notre Dame fan. I enjoy woodworking and fixing things, and spending time with my beautiful wife, daughter, and dog. Oh and nothing beats going to the movie theater.
What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
I have really enjoyed the Glass Onion and Avatar recently. Also, anything produced by Christopher Nolan is my type of movie.
