Employee Spotlight: Saroja Valluru

Today marks a first for the Paapri blog, the inclusion of our first Employee Spotlight! I thought it would be a nice change of pace to recognize some of the hardworking faces behind the Paapri brand. Perhaps if I work hard and dream large enough, I could be interviewing and writing about myself someday soon… a man can dream. At any rate, I’d like to congratulate and honor Saroja Valluru as our inaugural Employee Spotlight!

I can say firsthand that Saroja is a talented and dedicated employee, she was even part of the panel who conducted my interview, so it’s safe to assume she has an eye for talent. This time, in a turn of events, I briefly sat down with her to ask her some questions. Let’s learn a little bit more about her.

How long have you been with Paapri and what is your job title?

I have been with Paapri for 6 months and my job title is “Customer Success Manager” or CSM.

How did you find Paapri and what did you do prior to working here?

I ran across a job for a Paapri Business Analyst online, it looked interesting and attractive, so I applied for it on a whim. Prior to working for Paapri I had been working as a Business Analyst for another company. My role has evolved from that original Business Analyst position into the Customer Success Manager I am today.

What does a typical day at Paapri look like to you?

Much of my work revolves around the clients, which makes sense as a CSM. I spend large amounts of time talking to clients, verifying their email requests, coordinating with Paapri’s offshore consultants, and understanding user requirements.

What is your favorite part about working with Paapri?

Luckily for me, one of my favorite parts about my job is the client interaction. I enjoy working alongside our clients to complete projects to their satisfaction, and then some.

Do you have any specific projects that you look back on fondly? And why?

One project that I truly say I enjoyed was one working with Voesh. The team was able to finish the project before the projected Go Live date as the client was very proactive in learning about and using NetSuite, a major component of the work we did for them. When both teams are motivated and heavily invested in the project, great things are bound to happen.

How would you describe the culture at Paapri?

Paapri is always evolving, as I saw firsthand with the transitioning of my job. Things can change fast and we need to grow to adapt to unique challenges. Fast paced jobs can sometimes lead to extra stress, and while that may be true here sometimes, it also leads to a very trusting, open workplace as we learn to rely on one another.

How do you like to spend your time when you are not working?

I spend the majority of my time outside of work with my family.

What are three hobbies you enjoy?

I mainly enjoy playing with my kids, watching movies, and reading novels.

Comment below and send Saroja a congratulations! She’s certainly earned it.
