Employee Spotlight: Austin Faulkner

How long have you been with Paapri and what is your job title?

I’ve been with Paapri for 3 months and I’m a business development representative.

How did you find Paapri and what did you do prior to working here?

I found Paapri on Indeed after scrolling through several pages of jobs. Paapri was the only thing that stood out to me and the only job I applied for. Prior to working at Paapri I worked in the financial services industry. Without that experience, I doubt I’d be with Paapri today so I’m very grateful for my time there.

What does a typical day at Paapri look like to you?

Right now, a typical day looks like doing high-level research on companies and contacts, sending emails, making phone calls and sitting on Zoom calls with prospects.

What is your favorite part about working with Paapri?

My favorite part so far about working with Paapri is learning more about all these different types of manufacturing companies and trying to understand their business. It can be challenging but it’s very interesting to me.

How would you describe the culture at Paapri?

I really enjoy the work-life balance at Paapri, which is better than any job I’ve ever had. At Paapri it’s definitely a ‘work hard, play hard’ atmosphere and it’s nice to spend time with such great people during and after work hours!

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?

I try my hardest to stick to a strict schedule Monday-Friday. I exercise immediately after work and spend at least an hour with my family every day. I also officiate high school & junior high wrestling.

What are three hobbies you enjoy?

In no particular order, I enjoy: bowling, spending time with my family/cat, and golfing (sometimes).
